Nelson brings over 30 years of international experience across energy, oil & gas, IT, and telecoms, with a strong track record in business development and energy transition initiatives spanning both Latin America and Europe. His career has combined entrepreneurial drive, technical expertise, and regional leadership.

Nelson began his career in the Telecoms and IT sector, spending 20 years in France, Brazil and Argentina providing global services tailored to the oil & gas and industrial sectors. In 2014, he transitioned to the oil & gas industry by founding Petrollier, a consultancy focused on subsurface and energy efficiency. To reinforce this transition, he completed a post graduate degree in Oil & Gas Production from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires.

In 2019, Nelson joined Gaffney Cline consultancy as Business Development Manager for Latin America, where he successfully expanded the company’s business to new clients and promoted energy transition and decarbonization projects. His career has been defined by the ability to deliver innovative business opportunities while building lasting relationships with industry stakeholders.

Nelson holds an Electronics Engineering degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires and a Master’s in Corporate Finance and Capital Markets from Sciences Po Paris.
